I've never seen the city so dark! We are lucky to still have power. Power = air conditioning

Yes. I quit.  (No, that is not my resignation letter).  I wish . . .  :)

So, my blogging hiatus was due, in large part, to my frustrations at work.  It is amazing how much a difficult employer can play into your daily happiness.  Part of that is my fault.  I let my difficult situation at work get me down.

Even though my new job is challenging and I miss my friends from my old job, it's a good kind of challenging.  I'm focused on working hard.  I'm not distracted by any extrinsic drama.  It's a dream come true.

I hope to blog more often now that I've relaxed a little :)
